It was an extravaganza and a feast of colours, costumes, semi-precious couture jewellery with a contemporary yet vintage-infused flare. The Main Street in Unionville, Markham was aglow with a Fashion show where models walked tall and proud presenting a collection of Brocades, Silks, Chiffons and Georgettes in floor length anarkalis, sarees and bridal wear bridging hands with Dagmar Jewellery where each piece was handcrafted by the finest craftsman, many of which have actually worked on priceless pieces of Royal treasures themselves.
The 2nd Annual Fashion show, called OGAAN, meaning unity was organized by Silver Tulip, the Fashion Destination in Toronto and DAGMAR Jewellery, a Unique House of handcrafted jewellery, on June 22 at the Band Stand amidst a large audience.
““We are presenting our latest collection where the artistic elements of fashion trends, colours, embroideries and styles blend together to fashion inspired and innovative unique handiwork. This creative collection has been designed with a focus on the jewellery,” said Shibani Sahney, Head of Silver Tulip House of Fashion in Canada on June 22 at the Band Stand in Unionville.
“DAGMAR Jewellery presented their platinum Line called A Parisian Affair where each couture piece is the culmination of Parisian femininity juxtaposed against the opulent hues of India`s Erstwhile Royalty. One of the first global brands to introduce the concept of "Couture" to semi-precious jewelry, the Collection is an ensemble of antiquity inspired fusion pieces,” said Sushma Kilachand, North American Partner and Co-Designer for DAGMAR jewellery.
The fashion show, emceed by Renu Mehta of Imagebuilderz, attracted a large audience who revelled in the diverse variety of the latest trends and fashions available in Canada. The event was followed by a reception at the Silver Tulip store in Main Street, Unionville where guests intermingled and networked, as they journeyed through the Exhibition cum Sale.
